Losanges II RugPrice: $4,836.00
Design by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, 2013.
Faithful to the design principles of simplicity and elegance, the Losanges II Rug conveys serenity through its unique reinterpretation of the traditional Persian rug. This technically complex rug is created using an ancient kilim technique which requires great skill. The 8-sided floor covering is handcrafted in hand spun Afghan wool, a material which allows for some unique color tones to be highlighted. Working with the varying shades of natural wool, the design creates order and disorder through the shades and lines breaking the geometry of the diamonds. This combination of skilled workmanship, detailed construction and natural material makes each rug a unique work of art. The Losanges II Rug is available in three sizes.
This is a handmade craft product. Minor variations, in size and color, are inevitable.
