The cognac glasses are a regular household item with a fun modern twist.
I just purchased these glasses for my father as a Christmas present. He hasn't yet used them but the aesthetics of the glasses are fun and modern and he loves that aspect of it. I am a little concerned that the glasses will roll on the table but I feel that with the liquid in the glass it will be just fine.

Very interesting design cognac glasses.
The glasses are designed so one can hold the bowl of the cognac glass in a hand without the hub getting in the way. A very interesting take on a traditional cognac snifter that doesn't interfere with use of the glasses.

Reserve judgement
The glasses are unique and attractive. While it appears that they are 'weighted' in some way, when set down with or without liquid in them, the rotate to a 'set' position, which I'm assuming reflects the location the weighting.
I reserve judgement on them because in a social setting when one 'sets down your glass' it is not clear that these glasses could 'rotate' off the table if set too close to the edge in such a way that the glass rotates off the edge as it seeks the weighted position.
If you have any advice as to how to avoid a 'spill' I'd appreciate it.
Herman Miller's 3D Intelligent back material is a seating technology designed for the SAYL™ Chair. The 3-dimensional mesh-like suspension material is stretched from the Y-Tower at the back of the chair just as cables are stretched from the towers of a suspension bridge. The tension is greater in the transition areas, from the thoracic to the lumbar regions and between the lumbar area and sacrum.
