A modern self-assembly lamp, the Norm 03 is designed with organic principles in mind. This sculptural light comes in 39 pieces that anyone can assemble without the use of any tools or glue. Adds rich softness and warm light to any room. Select from two sizes. Uses a 60-watt standard bulb.

Britt Kornum

Britt Kornum studied at the University for Architecture and Furniture Design in Aarhus, Denmark.

As work for her architecture study, she designed the Norm03 light, but this creation had to mature in the course of the time. She experimented a couple of years with all the experiences that she gained regarding paper and its effect on light before her former creation became the product that the company Normann Copenhagen sells nowadays successfully all over the world. In 2003 the Norm03 light from Normann Copenhagen was awarded the Formland Prize, moreover it gained the title "Best Item" on the IMM Cologne in 2004.

YLiving 5 Star Ratings Modern, stylish and a interesting touch!

I recently purchased the Norm 03 for my new loft. I was looking for a modern light for my dining area. The light is an interesting and modern touch for my loft and my friends "love" this fixture.

The assembly was a little more time consuming that I thought but was worth the time once it was put together. I am thinking about ordering the smaller version for another room. Great value and I'm happy with the overall visual impact of the fixture.

YLiving 4 Star Ratings Great light - love the DIY and flat shipping

We love this lamp shade and enjoyed putting it together, but we would have wished for it to come with the hardware, cable and socket.

The little hole in the plastic disc that comes with the shade on the top does not fit a cable. I tried to cut a bigger hole in it for a standard socket and screw on ring I had, but the plastic disc broke altogether, so now I am looking for a washer to fit the top of the lamp shade and my hardware.

More than I have time for.

A hardware set to order with the light would be great to save customers time.

Herman Miller's 3D Intelligent back material is a seating technology designed for the SAYL™ Chair. The 3-dimensional mesh-like suspension material is stretched from the Y-Tower at the back of the chair just as cables are stretched from the towers of a suspension bridge. The tension is greater in the transition areas, from the thoracic to the lumbar regions and between the lumbar area and sacrum. "Hinge points" allow these areas to flex and support the healthy, forward rotation of the pelvis. At the same time, less tension in other parts of the back encourages a full range of seated movement.

Y-Tower

Y-Tower is the primary support structure of Herman Miller's SAYL™ Chair. The Y-Tower retains tension, replacing the traditional frame of task chairs. It works like the towers from which a bridge is suspended and combines with a 3D Intelligent suspension material to provide frameless back support that hugs the user's back from resting through reclining, forward leaning and twisting motions.
