Norm 03 Steel is a sophisticated sculptural light in a new interpretation. The original assemble-yourself Norm 03 is now available in an exclusive assembled version in stainless steel. In the new steel version, the living and decorative light that Norm 03 casts on the ceiling is intensified and the reflection of the light is enhanced by the many nuances of the steel.
"The Norm 03 lamp shade originally took shape in my hands and hung above my own dining table with its organic and very alive-looking form. When the lamp is turned on it casts a shadow on the ceiling that reinforces the 'alive' impression. Two long foil strips fold in and out of each other in a snake-like pattern, creating, in their own way, order from chaos." — Britt Kornum

Designer: Britt Kornum
Britt Kornum studied at the University for Architecture and Furniture Design in Aarhus, Denmark.
As work for her architecture study, she designed the Norm03 light, but this creation had to mature in the course of the time. She experimented a couple of years with all the experiences that she gained regarding paper and its effect on light before her former creation became the product that the company Normann Copenhagen sells nowadays successfully all over the world. In 2003 the Norm03 light from Normann Copenhagen was awarded the Formland Prize, moreover it gained the title "Best Item" on the IMM Cologne in 2004.View other products by Britt Kornum
