The final product looks good, thus any stars at all. You are paying for a bunch of plastic strips (18) and some molded plastic forms. Note that this is not a light. It is a shade. You have to buy a separate flange for the ceiling, cord, light socket, and bulb. So, to reiterate, you're paying for a disassembled lamp shade. As the description says, you have to assemble this shade yourself. It will take a few hours. And it will not be pleasurable as the diecuts that are supposed to act as guides are so faint in many cases that they are nearly impossible to see or feel. On strips where the diecuts are good, putting together the light is almost fun. But where the marks are faint (most of mine) it becomes rather torturous. Overpriced and in need of better quality control.
Major hassle, poor quality

Some assembly required, more like 2-3 hours. Additionally the parts were so poorly manufactured the alignment notches critical for the tedious assembly were not imprinted making the task impossible. Pass on this until their quality control improves.
DIY process + bright light

It looks nice in my kid's room. The only thing I think about - what if he hits it with a ball, etc. It is definitely going to fall apart. I was exited to put it together once, but one more time ...two more times...(?) Gives a lot of bright light though.

I am fully satisfied with this product, it looks great hanging in my stairwell, my only disappointment was that the hanging hardware was not included.
just what I expected - looks lovely

received this pendant quickly and set out to assemble it. I was really appreciative that the website indicated that assembly was required because otherwise I may have been a bit put out by the work, but it was quick and easy (there is a great utube video to provide some helpful tips). the light is now installed and looks awesome. Great price - amazing looking - would highly recommend.
Beautiful lamp, easy to assemble

The Norm 3 is a great pendant lamp that's affordable for its size and easy to assemble. You may want to trim to edges after the lamp is assembled as they don't exactly follow the curve of the lamp.

As work for her architecture study, she designed the Norm03 light, but this creation had to mature in the course of the time. She experimented a couple of years with all the experiences that she gained regarding paper and its effect on light before her former creation became the product that the company Normann Copenhagen sells nowadays successfully all over the world. In 2003 the Norm03 light from Normann Copenhagen was awarded the Formland Prize, moreover it gained the title "Best Item" on the IMM Cologne in 2004.View other products by Britt Kornum
