Norm 06
Overview
A sculptural lampshade with its own unique expression, Norm 06 is rumored to be the last in our self-assembly series. Ideal for beginners, it assembles without the use of any tools or glue to add sweeping lines and brilliant light to any space.
Norm 06 can be cleaned with a duster or by using the shower head in the shower. Maximum 60-watt bulbs are recommended (40-watt for Small version). The lamp shade is made of a special, non-flammable plastic material.
Select from three sizes.

Great, quality product - well designed, well made, though expensive considering you assemble it yourself.

This is my second norm 06 shade (the first being the small version). I was looking for a contemporary glowing plastic shade like so many out there now, but didn't want any of the usual suspects. Assembly could be tricky and a bit time consuming for some who aren't inclined to put puzzles together, though the instructions are very well illustrated. All in all, a well made, well designed product that looks exactly like the photos when assembled. The only thing is it's hard to pay for a flat box of plastic cutouts. I can only imagine how much it would cost if it were assembled! (I suppose shipping might be more too) That said, I'm not blaming Y-Living for the price, it was one of the cheaper sources. As for service from Y-Living, it has been excellent!
Great design.

This lotus chandelier design is amazing. The only tool needed to assemble it are nimble fingers. It is light and easy to install. Also looks great just sitting in a base as a very interesting focal point. We now have purchased 4 of these for friends and family.
Worth the time and effort

Assembling this beautiful light requires patience and nimble fingers. Although I mixed up the matte and shiny petals, the overall effect is still dramatic.

"I dream of developing new ways of designing furniture and larger objects through the self-assembly concept. This concept must be able to work on a larger scale and that thought fascinates me. Right now I am working on a collection of furniture, a draft for a boat and more self-assembly lamps — we'll see if they get done".
