Designed by Lawrence and Sharon Tarantino of Tarantino Studios, the EVA foam chairs are one of only two children's chairs acquired for the Carnegie Museum of Art. The EVA Kids chairs are expertly cut from soft, sturdy EVA foam - the same material that you'll find inside your athletic shoes. The foam makes them comfortable, safe, lightweight, durable, strong and washable.
Don't be fooled by their child-size proportions - each piece in the EVA Kids collection can support up to 300 pounds! Eva Foam chairs and tables are equally happy indoors and outside. Great design, sturdy and my kid loves them

I was a bit undecided between the red and the blue. I chose the red because it seemed more timeless and while it has a pinkish tone it wasn't too girly for my boy. He is 11 months and he is a little small to be able to sit on his own since he can't reach the ground when seated. I anticipate he will be able to sit on his own in 6 month - 1 year.
