SOLIS is an innovative, simple and elegant suspension lamp that can be mounted on a wall or hung from the ceiling to create a distinctive ambiance. This dramatic fixture offers a blend of light and shadows filtering light through its laser-cut streams and radiating patterns resembling the sun's rays.
SOLIS is constructed of polyester fabric held in tension between two polished stainless steel rings. It ships with an innovative mounting system that can be converted from a wall mount plug-in to a hardwired pendant. When wall mounted, the cord can be fed back through to the floor and be used like a floor standing lamp. To use as a ceiling model, the dimmer can be removed and the cord can be shortened. Features a full-range dimmer.

Research on materials and the ways in which it can unexpectedly drive the productive process is always a crucial aspect of his work, as shown, for example, by Valveola, his ceramic suspension lamp presented at the 2006 Ceramics Biennale of Albissola. His last project has been presented at this year's Milan international furniture show, the Salone, and is now part of the permanent collection of the MAK Museum for applied and contemporary art in Vienna.
