Design by PELLE, 2012
Made in the U.S.A.
The Quadrat series by PELLE is a line of wood lattice tables that explore the simple and elegant form of the grid as a three-dimensional object. The name "Quadrat" comes from the German word for 'square', the formal building block of the lattice structure. Its distinctive design is in the lightweight, yet strong wood construction of its open grid geometry.
The Quadrat Cube 20 Side Table is made in New York by skilled artisans, and can be combined with a variety of tabletop objects (sold separately) that plug directly into the Quadrat grid.

PELLE was formed in 2011 by Korean-American designer Jean Pelle and German designer Oliver Pelle who met and studied at the Yale School of Architecture. From their design and manufacturing studios in Red Hook Brooklyn they create products, lighting, furniture, and architecture. Their inspiration comes from observing and re-imagining the possibilities of objects and spaces around them. Ultimately, their work is about a search for a unique beauty that is within the materials and forms they find in their process. Jean and Oliver Pelle's approach to design is a constant exchange of ideas informed by their architectural background and their multidisciplinary practice.View other products from PELLE
