Cowhide pixels stitched together to perfection is what Pure calls its Moderna Cowhide Rugs. Pure starts with a selection of the best cowhides from the Pampas Grasslands in Argentina and Brazil. Then, each rug is individually hand crafted with 4" squares, assembled with a highly durable cotton ribbon, then finished with precisely stitched zigzag detailing. Offered in 15 natural cowhide colors.
All Pure rugs are produced exclusively from natural cowhides, never dyed. The rugs are 100% biodegradable and natural. Backing is the natural suede of the hide with weighted suede corners so the ends don't peel up. This also means you do not need a rug pad. And Pure rugs are very easy to maintain. They can be shaken out and vacuumed on a low setting. Due to the quality of Pure hides, these rugs do not shed and are stain repellent. Just wipe up any spills with a damp cloth immediately. Suitable for residences, high traffic areas, contract applications and more!
Moderna Rugs are individually hand crafted in 4" squares, assembled with a highly durable cotton ribbon and finished with zigzag stitching. Offered in 15 natural cowhide colors in 5 sizes. A Pure Team design.

This is a 100% natural product. As such, each hide is one of a kind and will exhibit its own distinct variations in characteristics and color, and will naturally and beautifully age over time. Note that any prolonged exposure to direct sun light will change material characteristics and color.
