Pure was born in 2001 in Los Angeles, California when three Argentinean architects decided to start a cowhide rug company.
The three had always admired the way architects and interior designers from the beginning of modernism were using cowhides as
rugs, bringing a touch of warmth and eclecticism to their spaces. So their idea was to start the first cowhide brand. They
named their company and vision 'Pure'.
Today, Pure offers the most desirable collection of modern cowhide and sheepskin rugs. Working with the softest, shiniest,
full body hides, Pure leaves no detail behind. From individually selecting each hide and composing exclusive designs and
patterns, to the perfection of each long lasting stitch, Pure Rugs are a long wearing product, timeless in design and use.
Pure Rugs are derived and crafted responsibly too. Quality hides are sourced from Argentina and Brazil, countries with a
long-standing tradition of producing the best leathers worldwide. Pure partners with the most skilled leather artisans in the
region - all Pure rugs are handmade in Buenos Aires, Argentina. And all hides used in the production of Pure products are
leftovers from the food industry. Pure Tanneries are ISO-9001 certified for quality and ISO 14001 certified for low

Herman Miller's 3D Intelligent back material is a seating technology designed for the SAYL™ Chair. The 3-dimensional mesh-like suspension material is stretched from the Y-Tower at the back of the chair just as cables are stretched from the towers of a suspension bridge. The tension is greater in the transition areas, from the thoracic to the lumbar regions and between the lumbar area and sacrum. "Hinge points" allow these areas to flex and support the healthy, forward rotation of the pelvis. At the same time, less tension in other parts of the back encourages a full range of seated movement.
Y-Tower
Y-Tower is the primary support structure of Herman Miller's SAYL™ Chair. The Y-Tower retains tension, replacing the traditional frame of task chairs. It works like the towers from which a bridge is suspended and combines with a 3D Intelligent suspension material to provide frameless back support that hugs the user's back from resting through reclining, forward leaning and twisting motions.

Threshold Delivery
Threshold Delivery service includes inside delivery, unpacking and removing cartons and crates. Product assembly (if required) is not offered with this service.
