Dotted texturing marks the sleek porcelain surface of the Kanae Large Clock from designer Kanae Tsukamoto. The female designer learned the design of earthenware in Northern Europe. Not limited to Japan and having been active in experiencing Europe as well as Northern Europe, her work exudes the cultures of these lands.

Designer: Kanae Tsukamoto

1997: Graduated from the Royal College of Art (RCA), Ceramics and Glass Dept (London, UK). After working for 2 years in London, she setup the Kana Design Labo (Freelance Design Studio). She is also a part time professor for Industrial Design and Product Design courses at prominent Universities. Her own vision of the world can be seen in her design of tableware, lighting, and interior designs.
