Side by Side. Beautifully different.

A good idea requires people to make it happen. Without people, an idea remains a simple, though beautiful dream. In 2001, the designer Sabine Meyer launched Side by Side in cooperation with the Caritas Wendelstein Werkstätten, a German workshop and support center for disabled people. People with physical and mental disabilities produce high quality products designed by more than 30 talented designers. With much love and care, accessories and objects are built with one thing in mind — to make our lives beautifully different.
