"Bounce" is a collection of randomly twisted steel wire sculptures mounted atop square steel bases. This intriguing series by acclaimed designer Karen Gilbert is at once both organic and industrial in nature. Available in three different sizes or as a set.
SkLO design philosophy is firmly rooted in the craft tradition. Working directly with artisans in the Czech Republic, each SkLO piece is handmade, resulting in details and subtleties that make every piece unique.

Karen Gilbert's design work is critically acclaimed and has been published internationally in books and periodicals, shown in galleries and museums in the United States and Europe and acquired for multiple permanent collections. Ms. Gilbert's work is rooted in craft with an educational resumé that includes metalsmithing at the California College of Arts and glassblowing at the Pilchuck Glass School. She is a founding partner of the collaborative design studio SkLO.

Working directly with glass masters in their studios in the Czech Republic, designers Gilbert and Pavlak bring a modern sensibility to the handmade, handblown Czech glass tradition. While remaining rooted in the unique synergy found between the discipline of design and the craft of the Czech glassworks, SkLO is going beyond glass and glassblowing to create a vibrant, modern design brand.
