Pool Sculpture Single DiskPrice: $414.00
Design by Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak.
Handmade in the Czech Republic by SkLO.
Disks of translucent color and steel come together to create the Pool Sculpture Single Disk. The disk is supported by steel brackets and held in place by a rubber-backed screw which is supported by a steel rod mounted to a rectangular steel base. The disk features the SkLO signature detail where the piece is broken from the glassblower's pipe, creating an open hole, and then flame polished. Designed to stand alone, even more striking in groups, the Pool Sculpture Single Disk adds drama to a vignette, console table or shelves. Available in three sizes.
SkLO works directly with glass masters in the Czech Republic to create each handmade piece. This handcrafting results in details and subtleties that make every piece unique.

SkLO: Cutting Edge Designs in Glass. Timeless and Modern.
SkLO is a collaboration between Pavel Hanousek, founder of Fusion Z, and husband and wife design team, Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak — with Hanousek bringing his intuitive knowledge of his native Czech glassblowing, and Gilbert and Pavlak bringing a multi-disciplinary approach to art and design. SkLO offers cutting edge design with clean lines, simple forms, and an emphasis on materiality.
"Sklo" is the Czech word for glass. Working directly with glass masters in their studios in the Czech Republic, designers Gilbert and Pavlak bring a modern sensibility to the handmade, handblown Czech glass tradition. While remaining rooted in the unique synergy found between the discipline of design and the craft of the Czech glassworks, SkLO is going beyond glass and glassblowing to create a vibrant, modern design brand.View other products from SkLO
