Integral glass colors applied from the bottom up give the appearance of hovering within the glass of SkLO's Pull Vessel. The off-center neck is pulled by the glass master, then cut and polished to emphasize the clarity and thickness of the handblown Czech glass. The Pull Vessel is available in five color/size options.

SkLO design philosophy is firmly rooted in the craft tradition. Working directly with glass masters in the Czech Republic, each SkLO piece is handmade, resulting in details and subtleties that make every piece slightly different from the next.

Karen Gilbert's design work is critically acclaimed and has been published internationally in books and periodicals, shown in galleries and museums in the United States and Europe and acquired for multiple permanent collections. Ms. Gilbert's work is rooted in craft with an educational resumé that includes metalsmithing at the California College of Arts and glassblowing at the Pilchuck Glass School. She is a founding partner of the collaborative design studio SkLO.

Designer: Paul Pavlak

Paul Pavlak has worked as an architect and designer in New York City, Minneapolis and Northern California. A graduate of the College of Design at the University of Minnesota, his work as a designer includes California wineries, estate residences in the Egyptian desert, furniture and product design and New York City nightclubs. Paul Pavlak is a founding partner of the collaborative design studio SkLO.
