With their defining infinity-style drains, Sonobath sinks are like sculptures in your bathroom. Founded by celebrity interior designer Jae Omar in 2008, Sonobath is a high-end American brand renowned for making modern vessel sinks that look nothing like the ordinary. Think infinity pools, seashores, rivers, waterfalls, and lotus petals.
With a name that comes from the Zen term "sono" which means controlled nature, each architectural creation simulates the mystical harmony among different earthly elements by integrating form, function, and flow. Its "out-of-the-sink" design concept is only the beginning. When water touches the stone surface, the effect is completely mesmerizing.
Proudly UPC certified, Sonobath products are made of Caesarstone premium quartz handcrafted to perfection by an elite team of sculptors out of a Southern California workshop. The exclusive avant-garde models Chaos, Ethos, Floating Hydros, Hydros, Floating Lotus, Lotus, Mythos, Oceana, River, and Titus bring enduring beauty and quality to baths and powder rooms.
"I'm in constant awe of how elements in nature are so fiercely independent and yet so completely inter-dependent. My entire life in design is trying to achieve that." - Jae Omar
A-list celebrity designer Jae Omar had modest beginnings. His creative knack stems from his artist mom who restored furniture. Curiosity about crafts aroused his passion for designing as well as obsession with objects and spaces - putting his print and runway modelling career behind.
After several visits to galleries and museums, Omar studied architecture in Western Europe and returned to LA in the 90's to open furniture shops, which kick started a career in designing. The year 2000 saw the unveiling of his first residential furniture design collection - a showcase of nature's beauty and organic raw materials. Sonobath, his latest creative offering, exhibits nature-inspired design and features the highest quality quartz by Caesarstone as main material.
His works didn't go unnoticed. The Hydros Sink was nominated for 2008 Interior Design Best of Year award and featured in TV program DIY Bath Crashers. Other media coverage: Lynette Jennings, Cribs, Top Design, Interior Design Magazine, Architectural Digest, Contract Magazine, Las Vegas Home and Design, Brentwood, and Palm Springs Life.
