Overview

Design by Markus Jehs & Jürgen Laub, 2008.
By Stelton.

The Potter Tea Pot combines the perfect design with optimal tea flavor. The pot has a strict cylinder form and was shaped in stainless steel with a soft surface. The shape of the handle creates great balance and makes the pot extraordinarily easy and comfortable to pour from. To get the most out of the tea's taste, the Potter Tea Pot is equipped with a special tea strainer, giving the tea space to expand and give off its full aroma. The Potter Tea Pot matches the Potter Milk Jug/Sugar Bowl.

Winner of the Red Dot Design Award, 2009.

Notes:

Important: This item is a teapot, not a tea kettle. It is not to be used on a stovetop.

Stelton

Manufacturer: Stelton

Stelton was founded in Denmark, 1960 with humble beginnings selling steel hollowware. When administrative director Peter Holmblad established a cooperation with the leading Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen in 1964 they saught to create a true line of tableware where correlation of design between the individual items would always ensure harmonious table settings. The result was the now famous Cylinda-Line which was launched in 1967 and immediately attracted considerable attention for its serene and functionalist design. The company rapidly grew in Denmark and worldwide due to the success of Cylinda-Line.

Today, Stelton offers five different design-lines with products from more than 20 top-designers and thereby represents once again one of the most innovative and front-running companies of its kind. Stelton has been awarded the "ID-prize" by the Danish Design Council four times and a number of Stelton products are exhibited in a.o.The Museum of Modern Art and The Cooper-Hewitt Museum, New York; Philadelphia Museum of Art; Victoria & Albert Museum and British Museum, London; Staatliches Museum für angewandte Kunst, Munich and Kunstindustrimuseet, Copenhagen; Louvre and Pompidou, Paris. On top of this, Stelton receives each year some of the world's most important international design prizes such as iF product design award, Red Dot, and FORM.

Stelton represents a special view of the world - we call it "a Stelton state of mind": to believe in surprising, innovative, clearly functional and high quality Scandinavian design. Stelton - awarded "Denmark's Coolest Brand 2005", "Superbrand 2006" and "Danish Design Prize 2007".
