The Coast Sideboard features a simple, understated silhouette with elegant subtleties and enriching details that bring this timeless piece to life. Boasting a solid and veneered oak construction, clean lines and smooth surfaces deliver a minimalist aesthetic that highlights this sideboard's quality craftsmanship and functional storage features. Its natural wood grain finish is contrasted by a refreshing pop of color on two of its cabinet doors, delivering a modern twist to a classic design. Coast features three center drawers and two roomy cabinets, each with a height adjustable shelf. Steuart Padwick is a furniture, lighting and product designer who trained at the prestigious Parnham School of Furniture and went on to earn a post graduate degree at The Royal College of Art in London. In September 2009, to much critical acclaim the award winning designer launched his own brand at 100% Design, in London. Padwick's aim is to design products and furniture that can be used in our daily lives, where the pleasure is gained both from the appearance and use of the object. He designs for retail, contract, and private clients and has been supplying stores in the United Kingdom for several years. In September 2012 he successfully launched 12 innovative designs at the London Design Festival.
