A veneered American black walnut frame delivers Pitch's honest aesthetic while an oiled finish highlights the natural beauty of the raw materials. Five equally proportioned shelves form an open tower with a tiered effect — an illusion created by a frame that angles inward at the top. Square edged surfaces offer a modern touch to this timeless piece. Pitch's minimalist approach delivers a functional form with an open feel, perfect for showcasing its contents in any room of the house.

Steuart Padwick is a furniture, lighting and product designer who trained at the prestigious Parnham School of Furniture and went on to earn a post graduate degree at The Royal College of Art in London. In September 2009, to much critical acclaim the award winning designer launched his own brand at 100% Design, in London. Padwick's aim is to design products and furniture that can be used in our daily lives, where the pleasure is gained both from the appearance and use of the object. He designs for retail, contract, and private clients and has been supplying stores in the United Kingdom for several years. In September 2012 he successfully launched 12 innovative designs at the London Design Festival.
