Fernando Gerscovich & Juan Diego Gerscovich
The Gersovich brothers, Juan Diego and Ferndando, are born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, respectively in 1972 and 1975.
After graduating from Architecture school in the Universidad de Buenos Aires, the brothers travel to the United States to work for two prominent architecture offices, Lorcan O'Herlihy Architects and Alejandro Ortiz Architects.
In 2003, they get their first commission for the front-yard of a house in Venice, California.
Since then, Sundayland is established in Los Angeles, California, as a creative structure where dreams, materials and production processes are composed.

Beautiful, warm light in nice form.
I was so happy to receive my lamp. The grain in the wood is beautiful and the base/ stem of the lamp has such a nice, smooth finish. I was happy to see that the lamp features a dimmer.

The lamp took an unusually long time to get, however they are individually made so the designers are meticulous with every detail. It is a bit larger than I expected but the light is a beautiful piece of artwork.
Note, this light is for ambience, not for reading. The shade lets a small amount of light out.
Herman Miller's 3D Intelligent back material is a seating technology designed for the SAYL™ Chair. The 3-dimensional mesh-like suspension material is stretched from the Y-Tower at the back of the chair just as cables are stretched from the towers of a suspension bridge. The tension is greater in the transition areas, from the thoracic to the lumbar regions and between the lumbar area and sacrum. "Hinge points" allow these areas to flex and support the healthy, forward rotation of the pelvis. At the same time, less tension in other parts of the back encourages a full range of seated movement.

Y-Tower is the primary support structure of Herman Miller's SAYL™ Chair. The Y-Tower retains tension, replacing the traditional frame of task chairs. It works like the towers from which a bridge is suspended and combines with a 3D Intelligent suspension material to provide frameless back support that hugs the user's back from resting through reclining, forward leaning and twisting motions.
