Made in Vermont by Teroforma.
Harmoniously blending modern aesthetics with traditional kitchen basics, the Short Bread&Butter Board is ideal for kitchen prep and serving. The height of practicality meets beautifully displayed natural walnut wood for an unforgettable entertaining piece. Accompanying the short wooden board is a small removable soapstone bowl. This versatile bowl nestles perfectly into an opening on the board for holding butter, oil or other spreads. While not in use, the opening doubles as a hook or handle for easy storing and carrying.
Due to the versatile nature of soapstone, the small bowl can be placed in the refrigerator prior to use in order to keep spreads chilled on a warm day. This board is double sided, one side flat for cutting and the other featuring a sloped "well" which is perfect for holding crackers or sliced bread. Available in two sizes, one for long baguettes this for short loaves.

Teroforma: Creating beautiful things with integrity in design, construction and quality.
Teroforma was created in 2006 by Anna and Andrew Hellman, driven by a desire to meet interesting people, see new places and create beautiful things. What they quickly learned was that ensuring their standards for products meant rejecting the allure of mass production. And so, the team embarked on a search for hand-picked designers and true craftsmen who could produce their products with skill and integrity - a search that lead them all over the world . Ultimately their vision emerged of the "right way" to make things in a world of scarce resources. This was a "focus on the quality and integrity of the creative process and the people involved knowing that only then can the finished product ever be considered truly beautiful."
The team at Teroforma has built a very strong idea of the ways that products should be offered to customers - simply, honestly, transparently and with a dedication to quality. They believe that products should be made to outlast their owners. And Teroforma commits that it will always be honest and thoughtful, working hard to surprise and delight its customers with carefully crafted home tools and accents for dining and entertaining.View other products from Teroforma
