For those who like their sake 'just so'. The Ekke Sake Carafe + Cups were designed to build upon Teroforma's use of soapstone as an effective temperature regulator for drinks that are always best served gently cooled. The polished surface of the pieces - Carafe and 4 coordinating Cups - make them pleasing to the touch. Lines etched horizontally along the bases add a graceful accent and a functional gripping surface. Kanpai!

Each set of 4 Cups and Sake Carafe is hand crafted by Amit Stoneworks in the central Indian city of Agre - famed home of the Taj Mahal - so the talent for high-quality hand worked stone is honestly derived. Amit Stoneworks is ISO certified for its fair labor standards.

Teroforma: Creating beautiful things with integrity in design, construction and quality.

Teroforma was created in 2006 by Anna and Andrew Hellman, driven by a desire to meet interesting people, see new places and create beautiful things. What they quickly learned was that ensuring their standards for products meant rejecting the allure of mass production. And so, the team embarked on a search for hand-picked designers and true craftsmen who could produce their products with skill and integrity - a search that lead them all over the world . Ultimately their vision emerged of the "right way" to make things in a world of scarce resources. This was a "focus on the quality and integrity of the creative process and the people involved knowing that only then can the finished product ever be considered truly beautiful."

The team at Teroforma has built a very strong idea of the ways that products should be offered to customers - simply, honestly, transparently and with a dedication to quality. They believe that products should be made to outlast their owners. And Teroforma commits that it will always be honest and thoughtful, working hard to surprise and delight its customers with carefully crafted home tools and accents for dining and entertaining.
