The radio is simple, sounds great & looks great. It is small so it doesn't need much table room. It also has an input for an iPod. We have two in two different rooms. If we need another radio for another room or the office we would certainly buy another tivoli.

My husband was an electronic engineer who had built an FM set while working at Columbia for his Master's thesis at Brooklyn Poly. Major Armstrong was working in another area during that period so he had met him. I like classical music and this little radio was perfect. When my son in Chicago who has one suggested it, I ordered it immediately. I keep it tuned to 91.5 which is the USC classical station all the time. I am very pleased with its' performance and would recommended it.

This is one of the best looking and best sounding compact radios out there. Love the minimal design and for it's small size, it surprisingly packs a lot of punch! While it doesn't have treble/bass controls to tweak the sound, there's really no need for it as it sounds great no matter what I listen to. Having those extra control knobs would just clutter up this simple design.

Tivoli is king of retro styling and crisp, clear sound. Gave this radio to my husband for his birthday and he was thrilled. Only problem: YLiving said the product was in stock and would ship in 2-3 days. A week later I received an email saying it was out of stock and would ship in 6 weeks! Needless to say, it did not arrive in time for the birthday... But it looks and sounds great in our home office.
