The Model Three® AM/FM Clock Radio delivers exceptional musical fidelity utilizing a discrete-component FM tuner with GaAs MES-FET mixers originally developed for cellular phones. Features auxiliary input, stereo headphone output, a precise 5:1 ratio analog tuning dial, accurate analog quartz clock and 20-minute sleep timer all beautifully presented in a furniture-grade wood cabinet.
The constant gentle illumination makes the clock face visible in low or no light without keeping you awake. Warm sound, ease of use, and a distinguished appearance give the Model Three its wonderful bedside manner. Available in Black Ash/Silver, Metallic Taupe/Cherry or White/Silver.

Great radio, horrible bedside clock

Great for on a desk, but horrid for a bedside alarm clock. The hands of the clock are almost the same length and really hard to read at night, the backlight is way too bright, the tiny button to turn off the alarm is really hard to hit in the morning, and the snooze is only 2 minutes long! Tivoli is great with the radio, but look elsewhere for an alarm clock.

(1929-2002) Henry Kloss was a prominent audio engineer and businessman who helped advance high fidelity loudspeaker and radio receiver technology beginning in the 1950s. Kloss studied physics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was responsible for a number of innovations, including the acoustic suspension loudspeaker and the high fidelity cassette deck. In 2000, Kloss was one of the first inductees into the Consumer Electronics Association's Hall of Fame. Henry Kloss co-founded Tivoli Audio along with Tom DeVesto in 2000.
