The Tivoli Audio Portable Audio Laboratory's treated 2.5" magnetically shielded driver and durable cabinet are weather resistant, so your PAL can keep you company by the pool or the patio. Its environmentally-friendly rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride battery pack fully charges in about 3 hours, providing hours of cordless playback.
Features the world's most acclaimed AM/FM tuner, an auxiliary input to connect a CD/MP3 player, a stereo headphone output, built-in AM antenna and telescoping FM antenna. Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) locks on to center of station for the best reception. NiMH battery pack and AC adapter included.

The greatest sounding small rechargeable radio in the world.

I love this product. I primarily use it as a portable speaker for an ipod and mostly in a work environment but also as a table radio at home. The PAL delivers a rich deep sound that can fill a room. I love the fact that it is rechargeable and lasts all day at work with no problem. The radio reception is also quite remarkable, it can pull in stations that other radios have trouble with. I love traveling with this radio also as it's great at the campsite or parks and cabins, boats and hotel rooms. I often receive many inquiries about the great sound and have turned a lot of people on to the product. I really should be a sales rep for it.
Designer: Henry Kloss
(1929-2002) Henry Kloss was a prominent audio engineer and businessman who helped advance high fidelity loudspeaker and radio receiver technology beginning in the 1950s. Kloss studied physics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was responsible for a number of innovations, including the acoustic suspension loudspeaker and the high fidelity cassette deck. In 2000, Kloss was one of the first inductees into the Consumer Electronics Association's Hall of Fame. Henry Kloss co-founded Tivoli Audio along with Tom DeVesto in 2000.
