Design by Tom Dixon, 2012.
Have a seat. Tom Dixon's Peg Bar Stool has improved upon the traditional pub bar stool with minimalist lines and careful detail. The bar stool echos the design of Dixon's smaller version, the Peg Chair with its curved wood seat pan and substantial peg frame. However, this version has a low back which is meant to conceal the sitter's lower back. Made from oak wood, Tom Dixon's new Stained Brown finish choice is a reaction to the popular trend of blond Scandinavian wood and a nod to traditional British pub furniture. The darker color is intended to withstand daily use and to deepen with age. Because the bar stool is delivered already assembled, you don't have to wait to enjoy a frosty beverage on this high-quality seat.
