Founded in the 1980s as a humble artisan based company, Tonelli was born from the deep and lasting passion for research and experimentation of an old, beautiful, and difficult material; glass. Through persistent glass manipulation and trial and error with structural bonding agents and techniques, Tonelli eventually found a welding agent that not only left the bonded sections transparent, but left these same jointed areas stronger; this technique put Tonelli's products on the industry map and turned their products in to symbols of innovation. Within the sequential years, the company continued to experiment with their favorite material, such as using shatterproof glass, and further steadied their foothold as a noteworthy design company.
Tonelli features pieces that sometimes seems to function more as wondrous art piece rather than a furnishing. Today, Tonelli pushes the boundaries of technology to create products that enhance the beauty of glass while maintaining functionality. Wood, mirrored, and chromed accents complement many of Tonelli's pieces, making the range well suited for many modern aesthetics.View other products from Tonelli
