The bowl of the Big Ceiling Light, with choice of 39" or 47" diameters, makes it an exceptional design of unique strength, able to be noticed and become a practical and decorative feature. The fixture provides a pleasant atmosphere acting like a skylight. It is the minimal expression of a light fitting - its acrylic diffuser takes up virtually all its diameter while at the same time providing exceptional light. The Big Ceiling Light is able to fit into settings which are contemporary in style and ideal for particularly high ceilings. The "skylight illusion" is further heightened when installed on a dark ceiling.

Ceiling light for diffused, ambient illumination. Acrylic diffuser with polished chrome ring. Big uses fluorescent lamping with electronic, dimmable, universal voltage ballasts. Dimming controls must be compatible. Available in two sizes.

Lievore Altherr Molina was founded in 1991 by Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina. Throughout the years the studio has been recognized for its furniture design, its interior design projects, its products, and packaging. Lievore Altherr Molina has received many national and international awards, including Spain's National Design Award in 1999.
