The bowl of the Big Suspension Light, with choice of 39" or 47" diameters, makes it an exceptional design of unique strength, able to be noticed and become a practical and decorative feature. Big Suspension is ideal for those interior design projects where the light fitting needs to be brought lower down. The suspension version of Big allows the lamp to be angled as required. A sequence of a line of these fittings at different angles provides large amounts of concentrated light just where it is needed together with a very special interplay of shapes.

Big Suspension provides diffused, ambient illumination. Acrylic diffuser with polished chrome ring. Big Suspension uses fluorescent lamping with electronic, dimmable, universal ballasts. Dimming controls must be compatible.

Lievore Altherr Molina was founded in 1991 by Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina. Throughout the years the studio has been recognized for its furniture design, its interior design projects, its products, and packaging. Simultaneously, the studio has developed an intense teaching practice, giving seminars and training courses to new professionals at various Spanish universities and other organizations.

Lievore Altherr Molina has received many national and international awards, including Spain's National Design Award in 1999. The studio has exhibited its work in Barcelona, Cologne, Chicago, Stockholm, Helsinki, Lisbon, London, Louisiana, Madrid, Malmö, Milan, New York, Paris and Tokyo.
