While they are called Useless Tools as they can not perform the function they were designed for, they are guaranteed to spark lively conversation when others see them. Karl Zahn studied Industrial Design at the Rhode Island School of Design with an emphasis on manufacturing and fabrication. Studying in Denmark in 2002 supported his love of handcraft and his own style reflects a danish modern sensibility.
