The story of ZAFFERANO has its beginnings in 2001 from the refined experience of Federico de Majo, who has worked in the family business on the isle of Murano and in the field of hand-blown and artistic glass production since the 1970's.

ZAFFERANO stems from de Majo's profound awareness of the secrets of glass shaping and experience in design and the creation of objects, yielding mutifaceted collections of wine-tasting glasses, art glasses, tableware accessories, lighting fixtures and decorative accessories.

The company aims to offer both the private home as well as any hospitality environment a complete range of products and provide any table or social setting with a strong, modern aesthetic.
