Design by Arne Jacobsen, 1971

One of a trio of watches based on Arne Jacobsen's designs, the Banker's Watch by Rosendahl was created to reflect the original design of the Banker's Wall Clock, but on a smaller scale. Unique to this collection, the elegantly understated dial and curved crystal are a single unit while the movement is located on the back of the watch, serving as an anchor for the leather band. The mechanical components of the Banker's watch are housed in a low-profile stainless-steel case.

An architect of Danish origin, Jacobsen (1902-1971) put an emphasis on creating complete design solutions, resulting in the genesis of his many well known furnishings and classic clock faces.
