Key Features
The Aurora PL Ceiling/ Wall Light from Visosi soothes the eyes like the luminous phenomenon by the same name with rich light and versatile mounting options. Following the Venetian glass tradition, Vistosi’s design studio focuses on the masterful modern handling of traditional materials. Each piece beings with a base made from handblown glass. The glass rests against the wall with a low-profile backplate designed to be placed over the ceiling or against the wall. A metal rim outlines the glass and gives the piece a sleek, contrasting touch. The opaque lens on top of the glass uniformly mellows the light to create a soft yet radiant image. Leaving behind a halo silhouette, the piece generates a clean, comfortable aura.
One of Italy’s most prestigious and prolific names in Murano glassmaking, Vistosi specializes in hand-blown glass lighting fixtures with an expertise that can be traced to the 1500s. Officially incorporated as Vetreria Vistosi in 1989 with the Moretti family, Vistosi continues to invest in new technologies and methods of production compatible with the historical craft, resulting in an extensive collection of highly decorative yet durable lighting designs.
