Innit + the Modern OSMO Café

We love getting feedback from our customers, especially when it’s to rave about a particular product. We can’t help but fall in love with this modern coffee house in Montréal. The OSMO Café has been buzzing with attention since they incorporated groupings of Innit Chairs into the Café. Free Wifi and fresh coffee aside, this is one coffee house we’re dying to take a trip to.

The Café OSMO is a part of the Notman House, Montréal’s home of the web and one of the 11 Google Hubs in North America. Thanks to a generous donation by Dan Robichaud of PasswordBoax, which was acquired by Intel Security, the OSMO Café completed the Notman House. It’s a communal space for co-working and startups, providing a cool and comfortable place where interactions can flourish, ideas are developed, and businesses are born.

The Café was designed by Sophie Fidler from Breather. Inside, urban concrete walls are offset by plenty of natural light. Natural wood, geometric details, and a touch of shining copper all give this modern Café the look every hip coffee drinker, and really anyone who appreciates good design, is looking for. Different shapes, textures, and a cool color palette all mix together in a laid back manner. The vibes of the Café are ripe for community, conversation, and co-working.

Hot Mesh Chairs from Blu Dot sit around unique tables in the OSMO Café

Groupings of Blue Dot Hot Mesh Chairs in crisp white sit around these gorgeous and unique tables. If you look closely, you’ll see strips of shiny copper are artfully inlaid into the wooden table tops. The pairing creates a minimal and simple appeal.

Geometric barstools and copper brackets in the OSMO Café

The geometric construction of these low stools adds a trendy vibe. A soft mint green plays as the in-between on the Café’s color palette spectrum. Copper brackets under this modest bar include more of the metallic accent. It’s the perfect place to pop up a laptop and get some work done alongside a few business partners.

But the real star of the show are these Turquoise Innit chairs. We’ve been told that they have become the trademark of OSMO Café. Their bright colored cording and unique shape have caught the eye of passerby’s, and has us swooning. It’s powerful to see how a punchy design element like these unique chairs can take an already well designed space and make it the talk of the town.

If you’re in Montreal, we highly recommend you go check out this fantastic community space. If and when you’re there, it never hurts to snap a photo of yourself sitting in one of these Innit Chairs with a cup of hot coffee.
