Knoll Reintroduces the Bertoia Two-Tone
We’ve got great news: Knoll has brought back the Bertoia Two-Tone, and they’re stunning. Oh, and they’re also available now at YLiving. Take a look at these color-blocked base-and-basket designs, perfect for your modern living room, dining room and beyond.
The Two-Tone was originally introduced in 1953, when the Bertoia collection was first launched. Bertoia was fascinated by the relationship between space and color, and eventually the Bertoia collection was expanded to include a very primary and basic color palette of red, blue, green and yellow. And it’s in this depth of exploration that the Bertoia Two-Tone finds its niche.
What we’re most excited for? It’s not just that the Bertoia Two-Tone is a blast from the past, but the fact that it’s customizable. Customers will get to design their own Bertoia Two-Tone, mixing and matching from a selection of colors and finishes—black, white, red, blue and chrome. Though you can never go wrong with the modern and satisfying look of classic black and white.
We’re all dreaming of the creative possibilities that this reintroduction brings. Encouraging customers to mix-and-match the basket and base colors opens the door for anyone to explore the relationship between space and color. A dining area is the perfect place to experiment with a few Bertoia Two-Tone Side Chairs with Seat Cushions. The seat cushions open up another layer for color play to take place.
These chairs are not safe for outdoor use, but the Side Chairs are perfect for a modern kitchen/dinning table and the Diamond Chair is great in the modern living room or even in the bedroom. The Bertoia Two-Tone Diamond Chair is available in both a fully upholstered or seat cushion version while the Bertoia Two-Tone Side Chair is available bare bones, with a seat cushion, with a back pad + seat cushion, or fully upholstered.
