Design by Charles Pollock, 1963.
By Knoll.

Helping to secure his prominence as a furniture designer in the 1960s, Charles Pollock's Executive Conference Chair has become a timeless icon of mid-century elegance and ergonomics. He arrived at the ingenious concept, enthusiastically supported by Florence Knoll, for the Executive Conference Chair when he challenged himself to create a chair inspired by a single line. The result was an extremely versatile chair with a recognizably unique aluminum rim, available in a polished or satin finish, outlining the chair to act as the central structure and as a bumper that doesn't rust, tarnish, fade and will guard the chair from damage.

Offered in a variety of fabrics and leather upholstery options, the thick tufted back and seat is extremely comfortable and applicable to a number of spaces and uses. Plus, the construction includes a 360 degree swivel tilt, and pneumatic seat height adjustment to make the chair uniquely yours.
