The Nuclear Plant Vase offers an artistic antithesis between nature and human's environmental abuse. Directly inspired by the cooling towers of nuclear power plants, decorated with a technical grid work (an idea brought to life by humans), and constructed with a material that further solidifies the damaging outcome of progress, the vase brings the troubling subject of energy transition into our daily lives; meanwhile, the intended use of the vase attempts to trump the negativity of the vase's concept with the gentleness of nature. Though the messaged conviction found in the design and overall use is powerful, you can't help but find a pleasant and benevolence to it all.
