Tim Rundle
Born in Bristol, England, in 1982, Tim Rundle is a British designer in the fields of industrial and product design. Renowned for his expertise in crafting elegantly functional objects, Rundle has cultivated partnerships with esteemed brands and design studios like Audo Copenhagen and Resident. His design philosophy centers on simplicity, improvement and the pragmatic application of creativity, all underscored by a meticulous approach to materials and manufacturing techniques. Rundle studied at the School of Architecture and Design at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. His career subsequently led him to influential roles at firms such as Formworks Design, Priestmangoode and Tom Dixon, where he served as the head designer of the furniture and lighting design team. In 2015, he established Tim Rundle Studio, a hub for his creative vision, which continues to shape the design landscape. Additionally, Tim Rundle is actively engaged in design education, contributing his expertise as a Platform Tutor at the Royal College of Art, a Visiting Lecturer at Central St Martins, and an External Examiner for Product Design at Brighton University, fostering the growth and development of future designers.
