Key Features
Artful, sophisticated, statement-making. Bring a calming, healing warmth to your rooms with the natural agate diffused glow generated by the Upsala Chandelier from Jamie Young Co. It's a modern design chock-full of visual detail. One side of the piece offers a unique design to the other as hand-cut agate segments circle with intriguing compositions of color, veins, and patterns. The organic outlines of the agate make for a beautiful contrast with the crisp, uniform edge of the ring steel structure. Slender steel rods extend up and down, giving the piece a sophisticated open feel. When turned on, light filters through the agate as a soft glow, creating an image reminiscent of a warm-hued abstract painting.
A day trip to Mexico in the 90’s inspired husband and wife David and Jamie to utilize unconventional materials in design. They began incorporating flower pots as lamp bases, and from there the Jamie Young Company was born; focusing on unique materials and taking note on current design trends. By taking influence from their travels and their love of art and history, Jamie Young and David Jeter have sought to build a company that can bring a global aesthetic into a variety of homes.
