Made in Spain.

Completing the cycle from analog to digital and back again, the Quaternio Blue Throw is modern, but created using traditional craftsmanship and handweaving techniques. As the root of its name implies, this blanket is separated into four color blocks, with each presenting a variation on the theme of blue. Started as a social project in 1983, the company that produces these blankets is called Tiexidors, located near Barcelona. The goal of Teixidors is to work with people who have a wide range of disabilities, teaching them the art of manual weaving and turning then into skilled craftsmen who can produce an exceptional product. The Quaternio Blue Throw is made from 100% merino wool, which is ecologically sourced from a single, family-owned farm in France.

The Quaternio Blue Throw is part of the Integrate: Time and Space Collection, which is a 2012 ICFF Editors Award Winner for Best Textiles.
