Mash T Design Studio

Mash.T Design Studio was established after founder Thabisa Mjo impulsively entered the design industry by entering the Nando’s Hot Young Designer Talent Search competition in 2015. Her design, the Tutu 2.0 light, a pendant light with a contemporary, forward-thinking South African twist was announced as the winner. Thabisa Mjo’s quintessential African aesthetic showcases the skills and passion of artisan masters working with weaving and beading skills. She continues to work with other crafters and designers, continuing to create sustainable economic opportunities and collaborations with African product design.
